Ultimate PB&J Melt

Snack with your energy, convenience and taste buds in mind with this household staple that the entire family can enjoy. Nutty, fruity and healthy never tasted so good with this unique twist on the classic PB&J sandwich.

If you think that PB&J sandwiches are just for kids, the Fullove Ultimate PB&J Melt is sure to change your mind! Our naturally nutty Paleo Almond & Linseed loaf has been created to enhance your PB&J eating experience while supercharging your body with childlike energy. So grab your apron and get ready to experience the same convenience, deliciousness and fun you grew up with (but without the sugar crash).

First, collect the following ingredients:

1 cup frozen blueberries (organic if possible)

1/2 TB maple syrup

1/2 TB lemon juice

1 TB chia seeds

1 TB of peanut butter or almond butter

2 slices of the Fullove Paleo Almond & Linseed loaf

Fullove Tip: We recommend using almond butter for more minerals, vitamins, fiber, and healthy fats. Plus, it really amplifies the almonds already in our Paleo loaf!

Next, set up your culinary canvas:

Saucepan (cast iron preferred)
Butter knife
Fork
Wisk

Now, let’s really get creative in the kitchen!

Begin by lightly toasting each slice one time over if slices are coming from the freezer.

Set aside the slices to thaw and get to room temperature while completing the next step.

Add blueberries to the saucepan and cook on low for 5-10 mins. Stir occasionally and mash the blueberries with a fork while they are cooking.

Take off the heat once your blueberry mash has reached the desired level of jam-like spreadability.

Stir in maple syrup, lemon juice, and chia seeds while the blueberry mash is still hot. Let stand until cooled.

Spread the nut butter onto one of the toasted slices, and spread the homemade jam onto the other toasted slice. Mash together into a sandwich.

Fullove Tip: Transfer the remaining jam to a glass jar for storage once you have made your desired amount of servings. Jam will last about 2 weeks in the fridge.
